his comedy specials, or keep an eye out on the late shows (typically,
I've seen him on Letterman). I cannot legally make you a
copy of these shows, so please do not ask. I know the fans have
requested these to be released, but Brian Regan's camp has ignored these
requests, not even giving a reason why they don't honor these requests.
It's kinda weird - I mean, isn't that a money opportunity? But, if
nothing else, wouldn't they want to respond to the fans?

Brian Regan - Live! is
Brian's only CD and it's been out for many, many years.
This is a recording of a live (that's why I think he called it
Brian Regan Live!, but I could be wrong) comedy club
performance...and it's just hilarious. Yes, it's the only CD
product available despite many performances and new comedy over
many, many years. Despite the repeated fan requests.
Brian Regan doesn't listen to the fans, for some reason (see
below).

Brian Regan's Lawyers made
me stop selling this as anything to do with Brian Regan.
They also trademarked the phrase "Take Luck" and "You too" a
couple days before calling and threatening me. After they
got what they wanted, they stopped replying to my phone calls
and emails. It cost them over $770 to trademark both
phrases (just the trademark fee, I'm not including the lawyer
fees) to stop something that was not hurting them - it was
helping them. How was it helping? Well, I was
promoting Brian Regan by selling these items - the tiny profit I
made was covering the cost of this site (you'll notice I've put
a lot less effort into the site and changed to a cheaper/worse
hosting site since they made me stop). And, the most
important fact: Brian Regan was not and is not selling products
like this himself. In fact, I tried to get them to as fans
asked me over and over for products like this. But, they
didn't respond. So, I responded to the fans - something
Brian Regan's people repeatedly refuse to do. So, Brian
Regan and his people spent money to prevent something the fans
wanted. It doesn't even make sense. And, the funny
thing is, by handling it in that fashion, they are alienating me
- their biggest support for over 10 years. Talk
about biting the hand that feeds you - but, whatever.
Spending money AGAINST a Brian
Regan fan. Weird.
They don't care how much work I do to promote
Brian's comedy - they are all about the money.
:-( Now, if any of you are
lawyers and would like to talk about this, please let me know -
I'm curious how they can stop me from selling a product that
says "You Too" just because Brian happens to use it in his
comedy. He didn't invent the phrase - I've said it on my
own many times by mistake in the exact same way he uses in his
comedy. Don't I have as much right to the phrase as he
does? Just curious - please let me know as I'm not a
lawyer, nor rich enough as he is to take away my rights when I
don't have a chance.
This, and other
experiences with Brian Regan's people (seriously - I've found
that they care about money and
not about the fans - they'll talk
to me when they want/need something, and then as soon as they
get it, nothing. No replies to emails or phone calls until
they need something again. It's been like this for years)
have made me seriously reconsider my support. I do a lot
of FREE work to promote Brian's comedy. Now, I believe
that I'll still remain a fan of the comedy itself, but I don't
know if I can say I'm a Brian Regan fan anymore, just because I
believe you are the people you surround yourself with.
I've never had a bad experience with Brian Regan directly, but
when you have a half dozen bad experiences with his people, it
makes you wonder... Especially when you do so much for
him. |
